PCI-DSS v4.0 is the current version of the Payment Card Industry Data Security Standard, the mandatory compliance framework for any entity that stores, processes, or transmits cardholder data. Configuration variance is limited to per-store IP allocation, printer count, and format-specific rules (kiosk versus large-format versus dark store). 02How Do You Handle POS Payment Redundancy Across UPI, Cards, Wallets, and Cash?
Payment redundancy is a network-layer plus application-layer discipline. At the network layer, primary and backup carrier links carry payment traffic with sub-second failover.
