Webex Calling is a cloud-first enterprise voice platform built for multi-site India deployments and hybrid work. Users, locations, numbers, and policies are administered centrally in Webex Control Hub, so standards stay consistent while sites operate independently.  

The service runs on the multi-tenant Webex Calling platform, integrates with the Webex App for desktop and mobile, and supports branch continuity with site survivability and media anchoring where required.
 

Core building blocks: 

  • Locations and site codes with E.164 alignment 
  • Central dial plan, route groups, and translation rules 
  • Call queues, hunt groups, auto attendants, paging, pickup and park 
  • Shared lines, executive assistant, voicemail to email, music on hold 
  • Role-based administration and audit history in Control Hub 
  • Policy tiers by user, group, and location
     

Admin experience in Control Hub: 

  • Single pane for users, numbers, devices, and PSTN 
  • RBAC roles for full admin, help desk, device, and compliance 
  • Nearreal-time quality analytics for MOS, jitter, and loss 
  • Tenant-wide change logs and configuration history
